Buchanan Engine Donates Apparatus
March 2004
On March 28, 2004, our 1955 Utility Vehicle
entered the Fireman's Home Museum in Hudson, NY as a tribute to
this state's past apparatus. This apparatus was hand built by the
members of Buchanan Engine in 1955 as a pumper. It was later
converted to a rescue truck. Most recently it was our first mobile
air cascade vehicle. It is now on permanent display at the museum.
Members of Buchanan Engine accompanied the vehicle on its final
run to the Museum.
