Fire Prevention
September 2005
Once again, Buchanan Engine Company opens its doors to the public as
we teach young and old how to stay safe during a fire. This event takes place on October 2nd in front of our fire house. Kids
enjoy a close up look of our fascinating fire engines and have fun learning what
to do in a fire. Parents gain valuable knowledge on how to continue these lessons at home. Everyone enjoys seeing our members
at work in a real life simulation.
Everything is open to the public for free. Enjoy the afternoon with our company.

Probes Turn Active
August 2005
It is a long road for an individual to become a fully active
member of the Buchanan Engine Company. A level of dedication is needed to complete the strenuous training schedule.
Therefore, the department is proud of those individuals who work hard to become fully active firefighters. This month, we
congratulate
Will Richard and Randy Hesselgrave who have both become active.
